How’s your day going?

Once in a while, we crave for sushi. Not cheap one but the authentic and excellent one.

Unfortunately, in Tokyo there are quite a number of sushi bars. Some are excellent and others are not. That’s why we cannot decide with ease which sushi bar we go to whenever we go out to eat sushi.

However, the sushi we have eaten and the sake we have drunk this evening are really delicious and not so expensive.

Right : Mozuku seaweed soaked in vinegar
Left : steamed and jellied cod milt with the slices of the Japanese leek
Right : Boiled small squids.
Left : Not mayonnaise but the mixture of the Miso and the Japanese vinegar.
The green vegetable are boiled brassica leaves.

This is really gorgeous and makes us want to drink more and more….
Concerning the position the sushi is served, at some sushi bar the sushi is placed directly on its counter. However, at this sushi bar their sushi have been served on this ceramic block.
